Q: When will townhouses be available?
A: The North and West Buildings are completed.  East Building is at finish & occupancy stage.  Construction start of South (final) phase is currently under construction--available for occupancy December 2010 thru February 2011.
Q: What kind of financing is available?
A: Conventional financing and Alaska Housing financing are available through Alaska USA Federal Credit Union and First National Bank of Alaska (contact info--see next question).
Q: How can I find out if I qualify for a mortagage?
A: Contact Scott Martin (261-3428) at Alaska USA Federal Credit Union orJean Lapp (777-5634) at First National Bank of Alaska to arrange for loan prequailfication.
Q: How do I reserve my townhouse?
A: Contact Marlene Bateman at (907) 771-9979 or (907) 764-8507 or Kathleen Poulin / Keller Williams Realty at 242-4223 or 865-6560 to reserve your unit with a purchase agreement and earnest money deposit.
Q: If I buy a townhouse, what do I own?
A: Aurora Square townhomes are condominiums.  You will own the townhouse where you live.  You, along with other townhouse owners, share an undivided interest in the common elements (land, grounds, et cetera).  
Q: What are the monthly condo association dues?
A: Monthly dues are $230.  Dues cover exterior maintenance of your townhouse unit, fire & hazard insurance, grounds & landscaping maintenance, snow removal, and water & sewer utilities, & common areas utilities; association management fees, legal fees, accounting fees, audit, bank fees, & contingency and reserve contributions.
